Mirza Faizan Assad is a Founder of Legal Tree Law firm, and heads its Litigation and Corporate division. An alumnus of the prestigious Mysore University, Mysore, ranked among the top tier law Colleges in India, He is a Founder & President – Cyber Safety Awareness Foundation, a non Profit organization which creates awareness among the citizens of India and globally to safe guard from cyber criminals, A member of Karnataka State bar Council with License No KAR 3259/2010, He has written articles and given expert opinions in leading newspapers of India & Interviewed by Television News Channels like Zee News, India TV, TV9 English & Kannada, Times now, Mirror now and various Regional channels etc. He was a former Co founder of Global Cyber Security Response Team, which deal with Investigations of Cyber Crimes and Training on Cyber Security & Solutions.
He leverages nearly a decade of enriched exposure across the entire spectrum of legal practice to help the litigants and their businesses grow and win in complex environments by guiding them to operate within the parameters of law and regulatory requirements. His experience base is rich and well rounded, including domestic and international, spanning the entire range of legal services: legal advisory, contractual and commercial transactions, arbitration and litigation, corporate law firm exposure and with having Good oral and written communication skills with an eye to detail, he has a business oriented, proactive, practical, results and solutions driven approach towards clients.
Experienced at working with global teams across multiple time-zones and managing complex legal issues; his expertise is in handling complex legal transactions; providing end to end contracting support; ensuring compliance and rendering general legal advice; providing strategic inputs, risk assessment, and direction in corporate initiatives; handling large scale and complex litigation and arbitration both in India and overseas, and experience in corporate litigation in various states and geographies on industry specific laws, consumer affairs, besides arbitration in domestic and international geographies. His skill set and experiential base has allowed him to seamlessly work across different industries and legal specializations.
